This paper discusses the results of benchmark tests showing dramatically greater performance for NetEx/IP vs. TCP/IP in moving massive amounts of data over anything other than short distances. NetEx/IP advantages in block sizes, window sizes, data streaming protocols and protocol stack efficiency are also presented.
