Why Support Two Stacks?
This paper discusses why customers may decide to support multiple communication stacks for file transfer requirements.
Shows how NetEx/IP and TCP/IP are used together to solve different data movement requirements based upon the strengths
of each protocol. Specifically, why NetEx/IP is preferred when performance and long distance challenges are involved
and why TCP/IP is best for moving smaller amounts of data over campus or local area networks.
