NetEx is working with the Symantec Corporation to provide their Enterprise Data Center customers with high performance, remote IP information integrity solutions. NetEx’s product - HyperIP has been qualified and supported by NetEx for Symantec's IP remote storage replication solutions including: Storage Replicator (SR), Replicator Exec (RE), Volume Replicator (VR) and NetBackup (NBU). HyperIP is a remote data replication accelerator that minimizes the inherent problems with traditional IP WAN networks. HyperIP provides application acceleration for Symantec’s remote storage replication by mitigating the effects of network latency, packet loss, jitter and other application disruptions attributed to network issues. HyperIP also supports WAN data compression for Symantec’s solutions to further improve WAN efficiency and return-on-investment (ROI). NetEx is a member of Symantec's (VERITAS) Enabled Partner (VEP) program.
