Replication of Imagery Data
The U.S. Federal Government uses NetEx software for mission critical data transfer requirements. This includes both the Federal civilian sector and various U.S. Military Branch customers. These organizations use NetEx software products including the NetEx/IP transport technologies for various operating platforms and software utilities as well as the HyperIP WAN Optimization software that runs on x86 based (COTS) hardware or as a virtual appliance.
HyperIP WAN Optimization software dramatically reduces the time it takes to transfer mission critical surveillance, satellite imagery, and replication data across long distance and limited bandwidth communication links.
HyperIP runs as a virtual appliance in a VMware ESX or vSphere environment, allowing the benefits of WAN Optimization to be realized without adding additional hardware, preserving the Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) characteristics of a deployed solution. An additional benefit is that HyperIP can be downloaded and installed on existing systems in the field, providing immediate performance improvements for these data intense applications.
With WAN Optimization software from NetEx, customers can accelerate mission critical requirements for terrestrial and satellite communication requirements. NetEx software minimizes the effects of high network latency, packet loss, jitter and other network disruptions that can significantly degrade throughput and application performance.
